Protecting vulnerable customers
Adrian Furnham
A chapter in The Talented Manager, 2012, pp 173-176 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Frequently, on those mildly addictive consumer report television pro-grammes, we get reports of unscrupulous people targeting the elderly. The targets tend to have certain things in common: they live alone, they are middle class, and are relatively easily parted from their money. They tend to be trusting, and some appear to have rather a lot of “senior moments.”
