Abstract:
Abstract The policy followed by many banks is that an accurate picture of the profitability of a customer relationship can be obtained only if all income and expenses from services are included. Institutions in this group often believe that their executives are not likely to differentiate among individual profit centers and their performance unless they are presented with: A P&L of unbundled bank services, and Proper customer identification.
