Abstract:
Abstract Japan’s vehicle exports to the United States and Canada boomed during the 1970s, with its share of the big US market soaring from 4 per cent in 1970 to 23 per cent in 1980. All eyes turned to the Japanese automobile industry. Why were the Japanese so successful? What could American industry learn?
