Introduction and Overview
Frances Stewart
Chapter 1 in North-South and South-South, 1992, pp 3-15 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This book concerns the economic relations between North and South. The rules of the game and their interpretation, which govern North-South economic relations, have been developed almost exclusively by Northern decision-makers, from a Northern perspective. This is also true of the main corpus of economic theory which is advanced to justify these rules.
