Abstract:
Abstract The emergence of new economic regionalism implies not only trade and economic transformation but also social transition for member countries. Social economy transition means the process in which the social economic structure and mechanism change from one form to another. It is a thorough transformation that includes almost every aspect of societal operation, such as economic development, mechanism change, living style, value system, etc. With China, social economy transition specifies the transformation and development of China from a traditional society to a modern one, from an agricultural society to an industrial one, and from a closed society to an open one.
