N-person Cooperative Games

Anatol Rapoport

Chapter 16 in Decision Theory and Decision Behaviour, 1998, pp 337-353 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The theory of the two-person cooperative game presupposes the formation of a coalition between the two players enabling them to coordinate their strategies so as to assure a Pareto-optimal outcome. The principal problem posed by the theory of the cooperative game is that of apportioning the payoffs accruing to the players in the Pareto-optimal outcomes of the game.
