Abstract: Abstract Agrarian production cooperatives (APCs) established during the Land Reform process in Honduras face serious problems with respect to income generation, labour mobilization and land use. Therefore, pressure to proceed with parcellation of these cooperative enterprises is imminent. Major arguments for parcellation refer to the incentives required to improve the efficiency of resource allocation and, to a lesser extent, for the creation of favourable prospects for sustainable land use.
