Abstract:
Abstract Honduras has a good deal of hillside agriculture which is thought to be unsustainable because it provokes soil degradation and erosion. Nevertheless producers continue to use slopes in many different ways and this raises the question of how Honduran producers have responded to the challenge of mountain ecology in the context of ecological, social and economic change in a particular region.
