Abstract:
Abstract MALCOLM SAWYER is Professor of Economics at the University of Leeds, and editor of the International Review of Applied Economics. He studied mathematics and economics at Oxford and the London School of Economics, and taught at University College London and the University of York before moving to Leeds. Malcolm Sawyer is author of Macroeconomics in Question (Wheatsheaf, 1982), The Economics of Michal Kalecki (Macmillan, 1985) and The Challenge of Radical Political Economy (Harvester Wheatsheaf, 1989). He is the editor of Post Keynesian Economics (Elgar, 1989) and (with Philip Arestis) of Biographical Dictionary of Dissenting Economists (Elgar, 1992) and of The Elgar Companion to Radical Political Economy (Elgar, 1994).
