Abstract:
Abstract SHEILA DOW is Reader in Economics at the University of Stirling. Educated in Scotland and Canada, she has worked at the Bank of England and the Department of Finance of the Government of Manitoba. Sheila Dow’s main interests are in methodology and monetary economics. She is the author of Money Matters: A Keynesian Approach to Monetary Economics (Martin Robertson, 1982; with Peter Earl); Macroeconomic Thought: A Methodological Approach (Blackwell, 1985); Financial Markets and Regional Economic Development (Gower, 1990); and Money and the Economic Process (Elgar, 1993).
