Abstract PETER REYNOLDS is Reader in Economics at Staffordshire University. He studied economics under Jack Gilbert at the University of Sheffield, where he wrote his PhD on Kalecki’s theory of income distribution. Peter Reynolds is the author of the widely-used text, Political Economy: A Synthesis of Kaleckian and Post Keynesian Economics (Wheatsheaf, 1987).
