Abstract:
Abstract The creation and execution of a comprehensive industrial strategy is one of the distinguishing trademarks of Japanese economic management. Many, including ourselves, believe that in Japan, public stewardship over industrial development was not only distinctive but also critically important in lifting the Japanese economy from its dismal postwar condition to its current industrial eminence.
