Francesca Beausang

Chapter 2 in Third World Multinationals, 2003, pp 8-45 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The purpose of this chapter is to discuss the multinationalization motives, competitive advantages and host country choices of developed country multinational enterprises (DCMNEs) and then to compare this DCMNE theory with the Third World multinational enterprise (3WMNE) theory. The 3WMNE theory will then be subjected to empirical investigation in Chapter 3.
