Abstract:
Abstract In Chapter 2, we reviewed the existing MNE/3WMNE literature, focusing on the multinationalization motives, host country choices, forms of entry and competitive advantages of MNEs and 3WMNEs. In this chapter, we present qualitative data on four case studies of Brazilian and Chilean MNEs. Finally, using the results of our fieldwork, we reconsider the theory of the 3WMNE, its multinationalization motives, host country choices, forms of entry and advantages.
