Abstract:
Abstract Having examined the theory of innovation policy, we now investigate its practice in Brazil and Chile. In order to gain an insight into the main innovation policies in Brazil and Chile, we draw from the interview answers of 17 representatives of public and private technology institutes. We display the findings and conclusions derived from interview answers. On the basis of all the results, we consider the implications for the theory of innovation policy.
