Chapter Chapter 5 in Emotional Logic and Decision Making, 2005, pp 144-177 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Failure is not definitive. An irreversible situation is. Most of the time it is maladapted emotional production that aggravates the situation of failure, a series of bad decisions that eventually makes the situation irreversible. The individual usually reacts “blindly”, but can also take on an attitude we call “Attila”, where the actor behaves in an inappropriate way on purpose. Once the point of no return is passed, the actor must go through a grieving process and the internal psychic acceptance will be accompanied by a rich and diverse emotional production that we will describe in this chapter.
