Chapter 11 in Emotional Impact, 2001, pp 115-121 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Before putting this section into context, it is worth going back to the beginning. The idea for this book came from the observation of the gap between the leader most often portrayed in the popular media – the superhero who could leap tall buildings in a single bound – and the individual we had encountered time and again in consulting to businesses undergoing significant change.
