Chapter 13 in Mentoring, 2004, pp 106-123 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter offers a chance to look at the various hurdles which may need to be cleared when a mentoring scheme is up and running. It also covers the later part of a scheme’s lifecycle and proffers ideas for how schemes can be drawn to a formal conclusion, whilst addressing demand for the next one. Finally, it examines how a scheme can develop and grow, as mentoring becomes part of an organisation’s culture.
