Chapter 15 in Mentoring, 2004, pp 137-141 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter is intended to give mentoring scheme managers a quick reference guide to things they may need to consider during the various stages of the mentoring lifecycle. Whilst not all points will be appropriate in every context, the following pages illustrate key areas that can usefully be discussed and thought about when: shaping initial thoughts; gaining organisational commitment; planning and launching the scheme; ensuring it progresses smoothly; evaluating and then continuing the scheme by developing it further.
