Chapter 18 in Business in a Virtual World, 1998, pp 236-240 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Organisations are undergoing a fundamental change, greater than any since the Industrial Revolution. In many areas, the full extent of this change – and the opportunities and threats it poses – is only just starting to become clear. We are like Galileo, holding up our telescope to the sky for the first time and suddenly realising that the universe we are looking at is very different from the one we thought it was.
