A chapter in The People Business, 2005, pp 46-48 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract As astrologers and tea-leaf readers know well, there is little as enthralling as being able to foretell, or peer into, the future. We all want to live in a stable, predictable, and orderly world. To know “what is coming down the line” is deeply attractive as well as reassuring.
