A chapter in The People Business, 2005, pp 36-38 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Senior executives now show their success by having a trophy coach. Some still have a personal consultant who may perform duties somewhere between a PA, a trainer or a strict schoolmarm. The more adventurous, or perhaps disturbed, have a therapist — often called a counselor to avoid embarrassment. And only the poshest, or perhaps the most sinful, have a confessor.
