Abstract:
Abstract The process of globalization driven by the activities of multinational companies (MNCs) has led some commentators to argue that MNCs are footloose, sourcing, producing and marketing on a global scale, as dictated by their business strategy (Ohmae, 1990; 1993; Strange, 1997; The Economist, 1995) and that through these denationalized companies, a process of homogenization is at work.
