Abstract:
Abstract This chapter is based on a comparative case study which examines the employee relations practices of the American multinational the McDonald’s Corporation in several European countries. It focuses on the problems of union organization in the European fast-food industry and the implications of these trends for employee rights to representation, pay and conditions of employment.
