Don’t need creativity

Chapter Invisible Barrier 1 in Business Creativity, 2005, pp 3-13 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Most people will agree with one of these two statements. Both thoughts inhibit creativity because both impel you to do nothing. The first person believes, “I’m not naturally creative. Therefore it’s a waste of time to try to become something I’m not.” The second person says, “I’m creative enough. While I don’t need to use my creativity most of the time, I think I can turn it on when I have to. I don’t see any need for improvement.” Invisible barrier number one destroys your creativity because it gives you reasons to do nothing.
