Chapter Chapter 12 in The Bending Moment, 2005, pp 95-103 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In today’s business world we accept computers and the Internet as offering opportunities to link organizations together to supplement the current need or for the generation of new value propositions. This concept, together with the demands of the global marketplace, means that organizations need to seek out and develop alliances and partnerships to create virtual organizations. These relationships may form the crucial ingredient for a more dynamic business strategy, but they also introduce new pressures that must be addressed.
