Chapter Chapter 19 in The Bending Moment, 2005, pp 168-176 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract There can be little doubt in anyone’s mind that one of the most important elements of success in any organization is the nature, style and visionary capability of its leadership. Many organizations invest in leadership development programmes in the belief that it will improve the performance of their managers. Frequently, however, these programmes fail to connect with the organizational change programmes.
