Customers and competitors
David E. Hawkins
Chapter Chapter 3 in The Bending Moment, 2005, pp 20-29 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract There are two major external stresses on any organization: the first is the relationship with the customer base, and the second comes from the performance and approach of the competition. This is not new thinking by any means, but what are often ignored are the internal stresses that are created by failing to understand these drivers and having a common strategy and approach in dealing with them.
