Chapter Chapter 6 in Sun Tzu and the Project Battleground, 2005, pp 67-77 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract There is a clear need within the project team for a structured framework, discipline and an understanding of the objectives and goals. There is also a need to exploit the skills and flair of the individual team members within their range of experience. The key to effective project management is to balance the level of command and control with empowerment to ensure that the maximum advantage is realized from innovation and creativeness.
