Abstract: Abstract The first area of limits that we are going to look at is the area of operational efficiency. We will see if there are limits to how efficient companies can become. We start with this because it is an area where we can identify very definite limits in terms of time and cost. Nothing can be done in less than no time and at less than no cost and we can look at a number of processes and identify the limits of those. It is also possible to analyse how close different companies may be to the limits of the various processes.
