Sustainability

Chapter Chapter 3 in Raising a Ladder to the Moon, 2003, pp 73-82 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Sustainable development is an important entry point for corporate citizenship; indeed for many people it is the only place to begin when discussing the interface of business and society. In this case detergents, ice cream, water and the survival of the planet are intermeshed, if not synchronised. What is so surprising is that we have come to the planet so late, but perhaps we could not see it; perhaps we could not see the links between Omo, water, war and corporations.
