New Challenges for R&D Management

Jeff Butler

from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The concepts we use to think about R&D must be refreshed and reinterpreted in the context of how businesses now operate, how industries are restructuring and how R&D activities are being organized to meet new requirements and promote new opportunities. The links between business strategy, technology strategy and R&D and innovation strategy are not fixed. Innovative businesses can exploit the dynamism of these relationships.
