Investment Return
Mark Sherrington
Chapter Chapter 5 in Added Value, 2003, pp 140-163 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The investment return in sport is clear. It comes in the form of championships, cups and trophies, as well as sponsorship deals and prize money. The powerful motivation to win means that professional sports teams, sports stars and their back-up staff are some of the most ruthless and effective learning organisations around. In comparison, many businesses look like the committee of the local church bazaar.
