Chapter 9 in Microeconomic Reform in Britain, 2004, pp 188-207 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes how policy is aiming to deliver employment opportunity for all in the context of the structural labour market challenges described in Chapter 8. It explains how strategies have been developed around the fundamental premise that work is the best route out of poverty for those who are not in employment but are able to work.
