Abstract: Abstract Understanding people’s names is important when doing business in foreign markets. Which part is the family name? The given name? The honorific? What’s the correct form of address? This is true in Asia as much as anywhere. And it’s the case for people in Asia as well as non-Asians, on account of the diversity of names and name structures from country to country.
