Chapter 5 in Organizational Stress, 2005, pp 49-50 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This section has been written from an organizational perspective, that is, to help the reader to manage stress within the organization. It has been primarily written for HR specialists, health and safety advisers, and occupational health professionals. Consultants advising organizations on managing stress will also find this part useful. Line managers seeking to manage stress within their area of the organization are advised to skim through this part, as most organizations require line managers to take responsibility for stress management. Having read Part III, managers will be more able to take a proactive role and gain the benefits of staff that are able to fulfil their potential. They will receive further help in Parts IV and V of the book.
