Abstract:
Abstract When discussing development models, the ‘neo-liberal system of development is most associated with the United States and the United Kingdom. This system has come to be commonly known as the Anglo-Saxon model of development and is a market-based model. Previous and recent writers argue that this model of development is a comprehensive product of the Anglo-Saxon culture (Newton, 1984; Taeusch, 1935; Schroeder, 2000).
