Abstract:
Abstract Toshiba, along with Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric, is one of Japan’s major manufacturers of electrical and electronic products and ranks sixth in that industry in the world (Fortune Global, 2002). In March 2004 it had about 120000 employees in Japan and about 161000 on a group-wide basis. In 2003 fiscal year it recorded 3.400 trillion yen of non-consolidated sales and 5.580 trillion yen of consolidated sales.
