Abstract:
Abstract Views of the future of global capitalism vary. The gloomy view holds global capitalism responsible for destroying employment, impoverishing the selfsufficient, destroying biodiversity, undermining local control, crushing indigenous culture and diversity, increasing inequality, imposing a consumerism culture driven by advertising, and separating investors from any sense of responsibility for their investment.
