Abstract:
Abstract The Internet is growing at eSpeed (fast!), driven by the wonderfully compelling customer and business value, an emerging supportive environment and a dramatically improving technological infrastructure. On the whole, European businesses have been slow to embrace the Internet opportunity but are waking up — fast. Those businesses that don’t wake up will soon lose share and, more importantly, customers to US businesses, their competitors and a set of entrepreneurs that got ahead of the wave. That wave is always about to break, so European entrepreneurs must move very very quickly to capitalise on this opportunity before US firms arrive, or the local off-line players wake up. If you’re an entrepreneur this book will help you kick-start your plans. Good luck!
