Chapter Chapter 15 in Public Relations for Asia, 2008, pp 103-105 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Tactics are the delivery mechanisms of Public Relations (PR). They carry the messages to the target audience. But they succeed only if they are the right tactics for the chosen media and have content that is attention grabbing. Press releases, surveys or photo opportunities are no good in themselves if they do not secure coverage. It is the idea behind them that is all-important.
