Abstract: Abstract More and more academic courses in Public Relations (PR), at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, are emerging around the world. Such courses first got underway in the United States in the early decades of the twentieth century and were being offered in Europe, particularly in Britain, by the late twentieth century. This trend is a tribute to the popularity of PR as a career, and indeed an ever-growing number of those starting out in PR now have degrees in the subject.
