Abstract:
Abstract Milton Glaser, one of most admired graphic and architectural designers in the world, is both a practitioner and an enthusiastic teacher of graphic arts. Well known for his posters and prints, his numerous accomplishments include the co-founding of Push Pin Studio in 1954 and of New York Magazine in 1968, as well as decorative design programs for New York restaurants. He has enjoyed one-man shows at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His numerous awards include the 2004 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum for his long-time contribution to the contemporary practice of design.
