Investment Examples

Richard Thompson

Chapter Twenty-Five in Real Venture Capital, 2008, pp 96-99 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract THIS CHAPTER sets out four investment examples which illustrate the way in which the investment processes, described in the previous one, are used. The four examples are an early-stage Internet solutions company, a second-stage medical communications company and two later-stage industrial instrumentation and pharmaceutical services companies, with all of which I had Board involvement. The main text is supported by Appendix V which contains the relevant Investment Memoranda for the four investment propositions, two of which are in healthcare and two in technology.
