Abstract: Abstract THE ECONOMIC and commercial framework, within which venture capital is operating, has changed substantially over the last thirty years and will continue to change in the future, with the pace of change probably accelerating. These changes are now explored under the headings of markets, products, internationalisation and people, and with the general premise that they will, on balance, substantially enhance the attractions of venture capital as an investment sector in the years ahead.
