Henry Bernard Loewendahl
Chapter 12 in Bargaining with Multinationals, 2001, pp 333-364 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In this book we have covered a wide range of research topics relating to the activities of MNCs. We analysed structural changes and their impact on the strategy and organisation of MNCs, the globalisation of technology, and bargaining between MNCs and governments. We discussed in detail inward investment in the UK and UK industrial policy at the national and regional levels, with case studies of Nissan, Siemens, and regional development in North East England.
