Chapter 1 in The Global Business Revolution and the Cascade Effect, 2007, pp 6-14 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract An increasing amount of literature has been devoted to the recent changes in the global business structure. However, researchers have not agreed on the nature of these structural changes nor on the implications for catch-up for firms in developing countries. The differences seem to stem from a fundamental divergence in the view of the nature of capitalist competition and the nature of the firm.
