A Study Clarifying HCN Integration in Japanese MNCs

Timothy Dean Keeley

Chapter 6 in International Human Resource Management in Japanese Firms, 2001, pp 172-201 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The previous four chapters have introduced and elaborated on the variables in the Conceptual Model of Factors Affecting HCN Integration. This chapter focuses on my qualitative and quantitative study, which is used to test this model. First, the qualitative data obtained during interviews as well as written comments by the questionnaire respondents are presented. Second, the data obtained from the questionnaires completed by human resource managers are presented. Thereafter, the data obtained from the questionnaires for PCN and HCN managers are presented.
