Abstract Amid the onset of the forthcoming and formative complexities that were to beset Vodafone in 1998 and with firm economic aspirations to be realized, what was to be the way forward? How would you have delivered the aggregation cost synergies required and structured the organization to deliver them? Hindsight is wonderful; however, learning from success and failure remains vital.
