Chapter 16 in The Globalization of Multinational Enterprise Activity and Economic Development, 2000, pp 393-409 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The object of this volume has been to explore the interrelationships between and among globalization, multinational enterprise activities and economic development, and to highlight the implications for policy-makers. Writings to date around the theme of globalization have been extensive and diverse and have encompassed perspectives which range from the liberal to the radical/critical. Nevertheless, many issues remain unresolved and both conceptual thinking and empirical studies are still in short supply.
